Position Overview:
Our Technical Consultants work directly with c-suite finance, IT, and operations managers in law firms to customize, develop, and implement industry leading reporting solutions. Our Software Developers are a team of agile developers who respond to client needs with innovative products that interact with industry leading practice management software. The Software Developer and UX Designer will sit on the Product Innovation team and provide support in the creation of visually pleasing, engaging, user friendly and innovative technology products for the world’s leading law firms.
Responsibilities:
Product Developer:
- Create, design and implement software applications with the senior development team using .NET platform technologies.
- Collaborate with the Innovation Team, Technical Consultants and Clients to determine the scope and expectation of software development projects.
- Assist in the requirements gathering and documentation of client product requirements.
- Support in the presentation of products to clients or client prospects.
- Develop and implement new product features from the extensive backlog.
- Work with Innovation Team to gain a deep understanding of the reasons and rationale behind current Product designs.
- Identify unnecessary redundancy, duplication, deprecated functionality and opportunities for improving quality of Products.

UX Designer:
- Complete research on legal clients, products and possible competitors.
- Develop a case study of personas, scenarios and user stories to present to the Innovation Team and Managing Partners during Product demonstrations.
- Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity mock-ups using web-based technologies.
- Develop easy-to-use product interfaces that will enhance the client’s user experience, leveraging the client centered design process.
- Implement responsive web design for all user mediums – desktop, tablet, phone, etc.
- Work closely with Product Developers to ensure Product quality from a UX perspective.

Requirements:
- Possess a College Diploma in Technology/Web-based Software Development.
- Must have Minimum 1 year of experience in hands on UX Design.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Developer using .Net platform technologies – ASP.NET, VB.net, C#, LINQ
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft programming languages – JavaScript (jQuery), CSS, HTML
- Technical skills (assets) – Razor/MVC, Presentation Frameworks: Bootstrap, React, Vue.
