Position Overview:

The Product Developer is responsible for creating and enhancing software products that meet user needs and business goals. This role works closely with cross functional teams to turn ideas into functional solutions, ensuring products are intuitive, reliable, and competitive in the market. The Product Developer plays a key role throughout the product lifecycle from initial concept through development, testing, and ongoing improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Design new software products from concept to launch
  • Collaborate with engineering design and business teams to define product features
  • Conduct market research and analyze user needs to guide product decisions
  • Create and maintain product roadmaps and development timelines
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications
  • Work closely with developers to ensure product quality and functionality
  • Validate product features before release
  • Monitor product performance and gather user feedback for improvements
  • Support product launches and coordinate with marketing and sales teams
  • Continuously identify opportunities for innovation and enhancement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science software engineering or a related field
  • Experience in product development within a software environment
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and lifecycle
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into clear product requirements
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience working with cross functional teams
  • Familiarity with agile or similar development methodologies
  • Knowledge of user experience principles is an asset
